This meeting finalised arrangements for the
DICKLEBURGH CHRISTMAS FAYRE, SATURDAY 15TH DECEMBER IN THE VILLAGE CENTRE.
The programme is as follows:
Official opening by The Right Honourable Lord Ron Duffy at 2.30pm
Father Christmas Grotto 3.15pm
Auction starts: 4.00pm
Grand Raffle Draw: 4.45pm
Stalls, all provided by local clubs, will include a wide range of home made “goodies” & produce, games, prizes & Tombola etc. Tea and homemade cakes will be available and the licensed bar will be open.
There is a Christmas Card design competition for children up to the age of twelve with prizes in four age groups.
The Auction itself is a major attraction, including braces of local pheasant, holly, and a wide range of goods under the hammer. The children are well catered for being able to visit Santa in his Grotto and the final raffle draw offers up a wide range of prizes.
If any one wishes to donate raffle prizes or items for the auction (no electrical goods) please bring them along in the morning.
Part of the proceeds from this fayre are shared out amongst the local clubs taking part and used to support local initiatives. For example, contributing towards Dickleburgh School’s Pantomime outing.
This a real village event so come along and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
